ASAIC Global is pleased to announce the formal issuance of an Expression of Interest (EOI) valued at INR 50 Crores to VIMANA Aerotech for the procurement of their advanced NS1400 and NS2000 range of autonomous UAV systems, supporting deployment for global defence forces, special mission agencies, and industrial strategic users over the next 12 months. This announcement marks a significant milestone in strengthening indigenous defence technology development and accelerating India’s emergence as a global hub for high-performance unmanned systems with export-ready capability.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to enabling next-generation UAV platforms that serve real operational needs across ISR, tactical mission support, logistics, and precision engagement environments. With growing demand from military and paramilitary forces for multi-domain unmanned systems optimized for mission flexibility, scalability, and cost-efficient lifecycle performance, the NS1400 and NS2000 platforms represent a new class of autonomous aerial systems engineered for high endurance, intelligent payload integration, advanced communication architecture, and seamless field deployment under challenging mission conditions.
The partnership with VIMANA Aerotech, led by Jayat Rohil, is backed by deep engineering experience and relentless innovation in intelligent UAV design. Their platform roadmap demonstrates strong alignment with current and emerging requirements of defence operations, dual-use commercial infrastructures, emergency response, industrial inspection, mineral exploration, agricultural capability deployment, and precision aerial delivery. The recognition and support from ASAIC Global reinforces the confidence that these solutions can scale effectively across international defence and commercial markets.
ASAIC Global extends sincere appreciation to Ramesh Iyer for his leadership, vision, and continued partnership in shaping and accelerating indigenous technology capability. The support and trusted alignment between ASAIC and VIMANA exemplifies the type of strategic collaboration required to drive India’s self-reliance objectives and reinforce competitive global positioning.
This step is fully aligned with national initiatives such as Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India, and the evolving global defence industrial cooperation framework, strengthening India’s participation in international supply chains, capability co-development models, and technology-enabled defence readiness. The EOI lays the foundation for expanded industrial collaboration, advanced R&D alignment, and scaled production capabilities designed to support both national mission requirements and overseas strategic customers.
ASAIC Global remains committed to enabling high-impact industrial partnerships and delivering mission-ready solutions that empower defence and government agencies with the tools required to respond to modern operational environments. We will continue to support emerging and established OEMs working towards competitive, scalable, and globally relevant technologies that contribute to secure, resilient, and future-focused capability ecosystems.
