About

The mission of our sober living group home is to help recovering persons stay sober, clean and healthy while learning to contribute to society via traditional 12-step recovery paradigms and to impress our creed on our house guests.

Further, this may involve learning to: care for nutritional needs, build social skills, be gainfully employed, engage in school or in community service - even if you are “classified” as disabled.

Learning to live within the structure of a clean, sober and supportive home is only one key to a successful recovery. Ultimately, recovery is an individual's responsibility.

Asheville Recovery Group Creed (Creed: a system of beliefs, principles, and aspirations)

I will practice personal integrity.
I will respect the dignity and rights of others.
I will demonstrate concern for others.
I will live up to my community responsibilities.
I will celebrate and engage in my recovery.
