Excerpts from Adam's website:
Once I had finished university, I had several psychological and physical health issues that my good friend, mentor, and first hypnotherapist helped me to overcome.
As a result of the seemingly miraculous changes that I encountered, I abandoned conventional medicine and studied hypnotherapy and modern personal development.
Firstly, I trained with lots of the big guns - Tony Robbins in the US, I also trained with Paul McKenna, a celebrity in the UK and the US and the wickedly hilarious Richard Bandler co-founder of NLP among others
In the world of hypnosis after I did my first diploma with my very good friend Jon Atkinson at Regents College, London, I went on to study with the undisputed heavywieght champion of indirect hypnosis, Stephen Brooks. I also studied with the human encyclopaedia, brilliant author, and very giving man, Kerin Webb.
Joe Vitale, star of the film ‘The Secret’, wrote the wonderful foreword for my book, ‘The Hypnotic Salesman’.
I have studied with other schools and spent time as a director and complaints officer for The Hypnotherapy Association, and in the last 10 years I have worked with over 6000 individuals in my private hypnotherapy consulting rooms…
I am quite different from many of my professional peers… I get over-excited, I stutter at times and swear from time to time… I am not the squeaky clean vision of perfection, that’s for sure!
My book, ‘The Secrets of Self-Hypnosis’, is the bestselling of all time on that subject at Amazon, and my book, ‘The Hypnotic Salesman’, does well too. ‘The Secrets of High Self-Esteem’ doesn’t do as well as those, but heck, you can’t have everything.
I have created over 30 hypnosis and personal development audio programmes that people invest in from all over the globe.
My work has featured in international, national and local media, and I have appeared on television on numerous occasions, including my regular position on BBC1’s prime time TV series, ‘Run For Glory’ with Steve Cramm and Sally Gunnell, helping the participants overcome psychological challenges.
I featured alongside top TV psychologists on BBC1’s TV show, ‘The Smokehouse’, and helped the participants of the show overcome fears and get motivated to stopping smoking.
I live on the south coast of England, very close to the sea.
I am extremely competitive which is amply demonstrated by successfully competing in marathons, half marathons, and various other running events…
Today, I am continually researching, studying and working toward discovering and understanding human happiness, achievement and excellence. It is important to me to encourage innovation by seeking out and employing cutting-edge technologies from across the world. I speak at lots of events and run seminars about these subjects all over the world. I also speak about body language, communication and much more.
Some of the many psychological technologies I employ throughout my work are hypnosis, NLP, Emotional Intelligence, classical psychiatry and psychology as well as others in the fields of Personal Development and Human Potential. I have trained in many forms of therapy, including cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis, and I have certificates for every kind of massage imaginable — not forgetting to mention TFT and EFT.
I like to laugh. I am a big fan of live comedy and sport and watch as much as I can pack into my busy lifestyle. I also like to perform many mentalism tricks for family and friends.
