About

Our Philosophy - We believe that Acupuncture care is the cornerstone of any comprehensive and holistic health program. When your body works the way nature intended, your spirit soars--and so do you.

Our Team - Everyone in our office, from our receptionist to your Acupuncturist, has one goal in mind--to help you feel better fast. We know that when your body isn't in top shape that your entire outlook on life can be affected. That's why you'll always be greeted with a smile here and leave with an even bigger one on your face.

Your Health - Please don't take chances with your health. A wellness plan that's easy to understand and follow through on is key to good health all through your life. Make Acupuncture a cornerstone of that plan, and you're well on your way to living a life that's active and free from pain.

Our Experience - Our  Senior Practitioner Dr. Frank Yurasek began his study and practice of Eastern Medicine in 1985 to seek relief for his wife's intense pain. Frank attended Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, where he received a MS in Oriental Medicine, and his PhD in 2002. Dr. Yurasek has been a Professor of Tui Na and a clinic supervisor since 1996.
His videos and books are used across the World as teaching aids and instructional techniques for those who seek to better their health and live more naturally. Dr. Frank Yurasek is a teacher at National University of Health Sciences and Chief Clinician of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He frequently tours giving speeches on the techniques he has mastered and in some cases helped develop.

Demetrios Bolobos received his Masters of Science at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago.  He was born and raised on the north side of Chicago where he still lives. Demetrios’ interest in Chinese Medicine stems from his interests in Tai Chi, Yoga and Running. In trying to understand the tremendous feeling of well-being sometimes called the runner’s high he would often experience during long runs, Demetrios came to the realization that running was a form of meditation for him. This realization led him to the study eastern philosophies and eventually Yoga, Kung Fu and then Tai Chi and still meditation. His quest for information finally led him to the discovery of Chinese Medicine theory and philosophy which resonated with him. He prides himself in being able to relate to people and assisting them in achieving their health goals.
