MB Homes goes beyond building ENERGY STAR homes to buyers willing to pay the premium. It made ENERGY STAR requirements the standard building specifications for a whole new community of 379 home. Arbor lakes, a Minooka, Illinois community is probably the only Chicago area neighborhood with all ENERGY STAR certified homes. All the homes signify the higher EPA constructions standards, environment friendly and energy efficiency. A whole ENERGY STAR community also means its home owners can enjoy cleaner outdoor air with less pollution from smoke, sulfur, CO and fumes.
MB Homes believes in providing its homes (2000 to 3200 square foot) priced in the low 200’s with luxuries found in million dollar homes. Aladdin Nassar is in charge of both Granite Countertop and Cabinet operations. He is also a vice president of MB Homes and the orchestrator of intercompany relations. All companies have offices in Bolingbrook, Illinois and occupy the same building with offices, showroom, warehouse and fabrication shop. All facilities are accessible to customers and visitors
Aladdin is gradually taking over the business from his father Tawfik Nassar who founded the home building business 30 years ago. Thanks to his conservative business approaches and to his training in engineering and management Tawfik managed to steer his business through several recessions and down economy periods. Unlike most homebuilders Tawfik refuses to build homes on any land that his company doesn’t own. This is one of his secrets of conducting unusually safe business. Aladdin, with his finance education, appreciates Dad’s conservative approach and adopts his philosophy.
