Relying upon current research, CWC’s founders have developed a unique program for early recovery. Because time in active addiction, to all substances, invariably leads to social isolation, poor self-care, and an array of serious health problems, CWC’s approach is to address each of these issues independently. CWC will teach our guests the importance of Social Support, and ways to develop a support system crucial to recovery. Our health and fitness program focuses on nutrition and exercise and, because we fully understand the mental toll associated with addiction, the third component of the program promotes “staying in the present moment.” Some time ago, the medical community determined that institutionalized care was not the best strategy for treating those struggling with substance abuse challenges. They found that a comfortable, relaxing, safe, secure environment was best. In keeping with this therapeutic philosophy, Comprehensive Wellness Centers offers its guests a peaceful, serene atmosphere and the ideal surroundings for making a fresh new start. Located in Coastal Palm Beach Florida, CWC is housed in a small, intimate Old Florida/Key West style building, once a popular Bed & Breakfast destination for northern visitors. During a recent renovation, CWC equipped the proud structure with the most up-to-date technology, creating a blend of old and new unmatched in South Florida.
