Alex GC (Alex Glass Construction) is insured glass and glazing contractor based on Staten Island, serving New York City, Long Island, and New Jersey. For more than 20 years we have supplied and installed windows, doors, and architectural glass for homeowners, contractors, architects, developers, and property managers.

Our work covers window replacement and new construction windows, entry and patio doors, sliding and folding door systems, storefronts, curtain walls, glass railings, frameless shower enclosures, glass partitions, skylights, and facade panels. We handle residential, commercial, and multifamily projects, from a single shower door to full-building window packages, including landmark and townhouse work in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

We offer two ways to work with us. Full-service clients get field measurement, shop drawings, fabrication coordination, installation, waterproofing, and final inspection from one team. Contractors and builders can order materials on a supply-only basis, with technical support and delivery to the job site.

We work with more than 20 manufacturer lines, including Cortizo, Reynaers, Alutech, Pella, and Marvin, so we can match the product to the building, the budget, and New York energy code requirements. Options include thermally broken aluminum, clad-wood, and vinyl systems, with tempered, laminated, Low-E, acoustic, and insulated glass.
