About

American Dodgeball was officially established in 2026, but its vision began in 2023 when Thomas Ford, a United States Navy veteran and entrepreneur, reimagined what the sport of dodgeball could become. He recognized the untapped potential of the game and envisioned it evolving into a premier competitive sport capable of standing alongside the world's most recognized athletic organizations.

For too long, dodgeball has largely operated as a pay-to-play activity, with athletes participating primarily for recreation rather than professional opportunity. American Dodgeball was founded to challenge that model. We believe athletes should not only enjoy the sport they love, but also have the opportunity to compete at a high level and be compensated for their talent, commitment, and performance.

Dodgeball is inherently inclusive. As a co-educational sport, it welcomes participation from men and women alike, creating a competitive environment built on teamwork, skill, and respect. Inclusion is not an initiative for us — it is embedded in the very structure of the game.

Our mission extends beyond competition. We are committed to elevating dodgeball into a dynamic, professionally organized, and widely recognized sport that captivates audiences while providing real opportunities for athletes. Through structured leagues, strategic partnerships, and professional standards, we aim to transform dodgeball from a recreational pastime into a dedicated professional pursuit.

Our ultimate goal is clear: to position dodgeball on the Olympic stage.

If you believe in the future of the sport and want to be part of its growth, we invite you to join us as we build the next era of American Dodgeball.
