About

Arizona CityFest is a Valley and state-wide mass volunteer mobilization effort throughout Arizona formed out of partnerships with businesses, civic leaders and the faith community. This effort, known as the Season of Service, will begin in October, 2010, and will address Arizona's most urgent needs in the areas of hunger, homelessness, education, health care, family well-being, neighborhood revitalization, as well as assisting with existing service projects already underway.

The six months of Season of Service projects will culminate with the free two-day Arizona CityFest celebration on March 19 - 20, 2011 at Tempe Town Lake. This event will feature musical performances, extreme sports demonstrations, athletic clinics, a family play zone, great food, and featured speaker, the internationally known author and faith communicator, Luis Palau.

Similar such CityFest events have drawn combined crowds of over 8.5 million people in major cities throughout the world.
