Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association honors Ashworth College for marketing excellence

 

NORCROSS, Georgia – June 21, 2011 Ashworth College, (www.ashworthcollege.edu) a leader in online education, recently was honored by the Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA), receiving a Benjamin Franklin Award (Benny) for Direct Marketing Excellence.

 

Ashworth’s online college catalog was the winning entry in the Internet / Interactive – Acquisition Offer to Purchase category. This is the third consecutive year Ashworth’s marketing initiatives have been acknowledged by the PDMA. The online school received two awards in 2010 for its military marketing efforts, receiving top nods in the Three Dimensional, Acquisition Offer to Purchase category and Three Dimensional, Creative Only category.

 

“It’s always an honor when your work is recognized by your peers,” said Tim O’Connor, Ashworth Chief Marketing Officer. “Ashworth takes a great deal of pride in its marketing initiatives and receiving such an award is a great validation of our efforts.”

 

The creative was developed jointly by Bicknell Creative, Camp Hill, PA; Rex Burruss Design, Atlanta, GA; and Ashworth’s internal interactive design team.
