About

The Association of Forensic Document Examiners was formed in 1986 as a professional organization for forensic document examiners. Our original goals were to provide quality continuing education, promote research within the field, establish a board certification program, and publish a journal (JFDE) devoted exclusively to document examination. We have ccomplished these goals and we continue to make an impact within the profession.
