TEXAS MISS COVER GIRL PAGEANT CROWNS ANA HEYSQUIERDO AS AUSTIN QUINCEAÑERA MAGAZINE 15th COVER GIRL FOR THEIR FALL/WINTER 2015-2016 EDITION.

Austin, Texas - June 28, 2015 -   In front of a crowd of family and friends, Miss Ana Heysquierdo was crowned as Miss Cover Girl Fall 2015/Winter 2016 at The Dougherty Arts Center.  Miss Heysquierdo competed alongside 6 beautiful young ladies in 4 categories, Formal Introduction, 1960's Inspired Fashion Wear, Evening Gown, and On-stage Interview.  Miss Heysquierdo stated in her formal introduction that she hoped to graduate high school early and begin her formal education to become an anesthesiologist.  Miss Hesquierdo took inspiration from the Beach Boys for her1960's fashion as she modeled a typical beach outfit complete with sun hat, sunglasses, and beach ball.  Miss Hesquierdo stunned the judges and audience members in a beautiful navy blue strapless chiffon gown with beaded detail along her waist.  

Judges for the event were Ms. Kerlyn James, Owner and Master Stylist of Hair Extensions by Kay LLC, MS. Brandy Lopez, Executive Producer and Host of Latin Fusion TV, and Ms. Sandy Royce, Fashion Designer and Jeweler of her own brand, Sandy Royce Designs.

Additional sponsors and supporters of the Miss Cover Girl Pageant were Fashion Photographer and Videographer, Juan Escobedo and Minuteman Press.

The Miss Cover Girl prize package included:  a $200 dollar cash prize, a silver crown and charm bracelet, a selfie stick, a year’s supply of makeup and skin care product from Mary Kay, and various travel and participation opportunities to do community service at many American/Latino cultural events.
