About |
As a husband and wife sculpture team whose public sculptures can be found in this country as well as in China, we find that combining our two different yet compatible perspectives seems to create a stronger artistic point of view. We take the best of both and together design an ideal artistic solution for our clients.
We are of the theory that public art should be uplifting, engaging and thought provoking, regardless of the theme. There are ways to visually celebrate, honor and memorialize in a way which will invoke a positive feeling from the viewer. To shock for the sake of shocking is not part of our artistic philosophy.
We use many different materials, but one factor always remains constant; we only use the finest quality materials the budget permits. We are proud of our work and strive to reach the level of excellence that will transport that level of pride to our clients as well.
Our sculptures are classic, timeless, elegant and yet very contemporary. They seem to offer a sophisticated approach to public art. Our method of artistic expression appears to have an international and universal appeal, as our sculptures stand around the globe, including Changchun, China. We are 2008 Beijing Olympic Landscape Sculpture finalists, winning the prestigious, “Excellent Works” Award. We were two of only 6 other American artists, representing the United States in China, to the world. We are experienced in working with city governments and agencies and feel that our solid background in private, commercial and public art allows us to exceed all expectations.
In a hundred years from now, we want our public sculptures to continue to be significant, vibrant and remain thought provoking. We imagine that our clients want the same.
