Since 1998, Barbara Tako has taught clutter clearing and home organizing as a professional motivational speaker and published writer. In 2010, Barbara became a breast cancer survivor and in 2014, she became a melanoma survivor. She now seeks to help cancer survivors and their loved ones cope with cancer's emotional anguish. For several years, Barbara wrote a simple living column for the White Bear Press with a circulation of 32,00, and she coordinated a simple living group, which met monthly in the St. Paul, Minnesota area. She is currently a self-syndicated columnist.
