Having lived in France as a British expat for more than 40 years Barry Whittingham is a specialist fiction and non-fiction writer on many aspects of France, French life and culture. His publications include François Théodore Thistlethwaite's FRENGLISH THOUGHTS, a seriously humorous look at the French and English in their daily lives. More recently, Barry published Barfield School, his first novel in the Call of France series. Barfield School is a psychological dramatization of some of the things which led the author to seek a new start to life in France.
