About

The Boston Scottish Fiddle Club is devoted to educating the public about traditional Scottish music and culture.  Since the club’s inception in 1981 the BSFC has offered instruction in playing Scottish music via regular meetings and other activities.  Currently there are monthly meetings with workshops led by well-known musicians in the field of Scottish music.  The Club also holds monthly sessions on Wednesday evenings for musicians in the community to gather and play their favorite tunes together.  The Young Fiddlers Workshop Series provides an opportunity for the next generation of musicians, on any instrument, to learn tunes with their peers.  The Boston Scottish Fiddle Orchestra, the performing group of the club, allows us to share our music with the community.
