About

Charles is the Fillmore Real Estate Specialist for the borough of Brooklyn. Born and raised in the Gravesend neighborhood of Brooklyn, he is a true Brooklynite. Charles attended Our Lady of Grace Elementary School and graduated in 1972, attended Abraham Lincoln High School until 1976, then Kingsborough Community College until 1979. He is married and lives in the Marine Park area where he raised his two sons.

Charles is Vice President Division Manager for Fillmore, and is also the office manager of Fillmore’s 2926 Avenue J office. His sales staff consists of 35 Realtors all living in and serving the Brooklyn community the ‘Fillmore way’. Charles considers them to be "Fillmore's Best".

For Charles it’s all about excellence in real estate. He knows it, and it shows both in his own sales and management skills, as well as in the sales and conduct of his agents. He is a graduate of Steve Harney's nationally acclaimed class on Mastering Negotiations, and has served his community for over 20 years on the Marine Park Civic Association board of directors and as Member of the Brooklyn Community Board 18.

His real estate career began in 1986 with a local successful real estate agency where he was a top sales person for 5 years. In 1991 Charles was promoted to office sales manager in a local real estate firm, Bergen Basin Realty until 1998.

He joined Fillmore Real Estate in February of 1998 and was top agent throughout Fillmore in April of the same year. In August of 1998 he was promoted to Sales Manager of the 2926 Avenue J office. And in September of 1998-2926 Avenue J won Office of the Month, doubling its previous best month ever. In December of 1998 the Office won Most Improved for the year.

Charles’ high energy and outstanding professional credentials sets the standard at 2926 Avenue J. “Our goal is and always will be to amaze our clients and customers with the quality of our services. They have my personal guarantee that they will not find a more complete and satisfying real estate service anywhere,” says Charles.

The office in 1999 won Golden Hand Award for top honors and in 2000 was the recipient of the Milestone Award selling over $20,000,000 of real estate.

Success continued on into 2001 when they did it again selling over $20,000,000 of real estate. 2004 was another record-breaking year for Fillmore's Best and in 2005 sales were up 12% from the that year. Although overall Brooklyn real estate sales were down in 2006, Fillmore finished with an 18% increase. And so far in 2007 the office on Avenue J is up from last year and still one of the top offices in Brooklyn.

"PEOPLE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU KNOW UNTIL THEY KNOW THAT YOU CARE"

Charles’ impressive resume, real estate experience, and people skills only get better because of his love of community, church and family.

And as Charles says, I am 20+ YEARS IN THIS BUSINESS AND STILL HAVING FUN!
