The Bulgarian Hope Foundation, Inc.

The Bulgarian Hope Foundation exists to meaningfully improve the lives of orphans and disabled individuals living in Bulgarian institutions.

Frequently, these institutions are outdated and understaffed. Children, particularly those with disabilities, lack the attention and love they need to survive and thrive. Often these institutions are located in remote places where residents lack opportunity for social integration and access to specialized services. The situation there is difficult and, for those with disabilities or those that have been orphaned or abandoned, the choices are limited. Bulgaria offers little for alternative care services and its foster care system is insufficient.

We work in partnership with organizations "on the ground" in Bulgaria to accomplish our mission of bringing real, noticeable change to these individuals.
