Communities In Schools of the Heart of Texas’

Communities In Schools is the nation’s leading dropout prevention program. Communities In Schools of the Heart of Texas have on-campus social workers or counselors in 26 schools throughout eight school districts. During the school year, case-management services provide services to over 4,000 at-risk students. While working individually with these students, on-campus counselors also work with the greater school population and staff to provide school-wide dropout prevention services and events.
