CygnusOfficial.org – Cybersecurity Education for All Ages
CygnusOfficial.org is a mission-driven platform dedicated to empowering kids and seniors with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to navigate the digital world safely. In an age where online threats are constantly evolving, Cygnus helps bridge the digital literacy gap by offering free, engaging, and easy-to-understand cybersecurity education tailored to two of the most vulnerable — and often overlooked — populations in the digital age: children and older adults.
Founded by Connor Schultz, a San Francisco native and graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Law, History, and Culture and a minor in Law and Technology, Cygnus was born out of a deep commitment to public service and digital equity. Schultz is currently employed in the legal field, working on technology and civil litigation cases. His experience in law, technology, and community service fuels Cygnus’s vision of a more digitally inclusive society.
Our Mission
We believe cybersecurity is a basic life skill, not a luxury. Every person — regardless of age, experience, or income level — deserves the ability to protect themselves and their loved ones online. Our mission is simple: to make digital safety education accessible, relatable, and actionable.
What We Offer
CygnusOfficial.org offers a range of free resources and tools designed to meet users where they are, helping them learn at their own pace:
Interactive Learning Modules for Kids
These fun, story-based lessons help children understand topics like phishing, online privacy, password safety, and how to identify suspicious content — all while reinforcing positive digital citizenship.
Guides and Tutorials for Older Adults
Seniors can learn the basics of smartphone security, scam detection, email safety, video calls, and safe online shopping through step-by-step tutorials that avoid tech jargon and build digital confidence.
Caregiver and Educator Resources
Families, caregivers, and teachers can access printable tip sheets, conversation starters, and workshop materials to bring cybersecurity education into the home, classroom, or community center.

Community Impact
Beyond its digital reach, Cygnus is rooted in a deep commitment to community empowerment. Founder Connor Schultz also co-founded Tennis Community Cares, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mentorship and tennis programs for underserved youth in the Bay Area. That same spirit of outreach and inclusion carries through to Cygnus, which partners with local schools, libraries, and senior centers to make cybersecurity education accessible at the community level.
Looking Ahead
Cygnus is actively developing new mobile-friendly tools and expanding its curriculum in response to user feedback. In late 2025, the organization plans to launch interactive safety simulations, enhanced accessibility features for users with disabilities, and translated content for multilingual households.
We are also seeking new partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, senior advocacy groups, and local governments to amplify our mission and expand our reach.
Why Cygnus?
The name Cygnus, which means “swan” in Latin, symbolizes grace, resilience, and protection. These values are at the heart of everything we do — empowering users with the knowledge and confidence to move through the digital world safely and securely.
Whether you're a parent, teacher, grandchild, or caregiver, Cygnus provides the resources you need to help someone you love — or yourself — become cyber smart.
