Cyressa is the publisher of the French Artist Arnaud Ribadeau Dumas, student of the Czech painter Jaro Hilbert, who passed on to him a taste for the precision of drawing, the subtlety of shadows and the science of volumes. A lover of Kefalonia, he set up his studio there so that the landscapes and lights of the island could nourish his inspiration. For his first illustrated book "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" a graphic novel adaptation of Louis de Bernières' best-selling novel. Arnaud carried out meticulous work of historical research to faithfully reproduce the landscapes and buildings of the island during the Second World War and before the earthquake that devastated it.
