FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Caroline Bailey is only 5 years old and has been in and out of hospitals and clinics almost all of her life. Caroline has Neurofibromastosis which is a disease that causes tumors to grow inside the body. In Caroline’s case these tumors are very large and cause the blood supply to be slowed to vital organs which will eventually cause the organs to shut down.

As you can imagine the medical bills and travel back and forth from Tifton where she lives to Atlanta for many of her treatments get quite expensive. Several volunteers from Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton have gotten together to raise funds to help little Caroline and her family.

The name of the event is Caroline’s Ride and Cruisin for Caroline. It started out as a fundraising 100K bicycle ride and has turned into one great family event. A 50K ride was added for the riders that didn’t want to do the entire 100K. Then a face painting booth for the children and then a dunking booth. Hamburgers and hot dogs from the concession stand, a Classic Car Cruise in, and then Chad “Big Bank” Barfield found out that his high school chum was in need and decided to come home to Tifton and bring some other pro wrestlers with him, so the evnt now has several pro wrestling matches too.

The route for the ride is set and some of the local churches have agreed to be rest stops for the ride furnishing Gatorade and water and possibly some snacks too.

So come join us for a lot of good clean family fun, bring the kids, bring your bike, bring yur classic ride, be it a car, motorcycle or truck.
