Center for Special Needs is a division of Jewish Federation & Family Services.

Our mission is to increase the quality of life of people with disabilities by providing services that promote independence, social connections and informed decision making. Our areas of service are:

Service Consultation and Referral-
We assist individuals and families to navigate the complicated social service and health care systems, and enable them to locate and access community, health and government resources.

Case Management-
We advocate for, coordinate, and monitor services to improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs

IEP/ISP Advocacy-
We assist families to navigate the IEP/ISP process, as well as coordinating with community agencies, and/or school districts, on programming and support systems outlined in the IEP plan.

Support Groups, Workshops, and Parenting Classes-
We provide free workshops, parenting classes and free support groups focused on empowering parents with the knowledge, strategies and supports to improve their lives and the life of their child with special needs.

Adult Disability Services-
We assist those individuals over age 18 with disabilities to navigate daily obstacles, connect to resources, and maintain a high level of dignity and independence. Clients are supported in their efforts of socialization, inclusion and acceptance in the workplace and community.

We provide services to all of Orange County.  Our endevor is to provide high quality supprot to individuals, families and caregivers on a manageable sliding scale.
