Cheryl Paulsen spent eight years serving in the United States military (Navy and Reserves), including a recall to duty after September 11. She served on the guided missile cruiser USS Port Royal and, after completing Nuclear Power School, Cheryl was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Theodore Roosevelt.
She combined her powerful interest in training and an unwaverable passion to help small business owners grow their business.  Using her experience, Cheryl founded Paulsen Enterprises and Mobile Apps for Small Business, a company that focuses on developing mobile applications for small businesses and entrepreneurs; which she successfully built from the ground up and eventually sold.
She is a Dan Kennedy Certified Business Advisor and now focuses her expertise on marketing professional practices by founding Premier Practices Marketing with Dr. Amjad Hammad specializing in Ophthalmology and Optometry practices.  She's a firm believer in making your business work harder for you then you work for it.  As Michael Gerber, author of the E-Myth book series says, too many entrepreneurs spend valuable time working in their business when they should be working on their business.
Cheryl is also an impassioned speaker. Her topics include Technology for Small Business Owners, Women and Leadership, Profitability Leveraging Today’s Media and Direct Response Marketing for Professional Practices: How To Make Your Marketing An Investment.
In her spare time, Cheryl and her husband spend time with their young son in Saratoga Springs, New York.
