FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — September 9, 2026 — Cloud Yachts today announced a strategic collaboration between Ken Cage, CEO of IRG, and Eddy Denison, CEO of Cloud Yachts, creating an end-to-end solution for the recovery, management, remarketing and disposition of distressed yachts and aircraft.
The venture combines Cage’s decades of experience locating, securing and recovering high-value assets with Cloud Yachts’ expertise in yacht brokerage, valuation, technology, digital marketing and complex transactions.
Together, the companies will provide lenders, attorneys, insurers and government entities with a coordinated solution for distressed assets — from recovery and securing through management, valuation, marketing and final disposition.
One call. From recovery to resale.
“When a multi-million-dollar yacht or aircraft becomes distressed, recovering the asset is only the beginning,” said Cage. “The lender ultimately needs its money back. You need professionals who understand what you have, how to protect its value, how to position it and, ultimately, how to get it sold. That’s what makes this partnership so powerful.”
Cage and IRG have completed more than 3,000 repossessions over the past 20 years, according to Cage, involving aircraft, yachts, RVs and other high-value assets. IRG also handles insurance claims, salvage and subrogation cases involving theft, damage and distressed assets. Cage says the company has also secured two U.S. government contracts involving boats and aircraft.
Cage’s career has attracted national and international media attention. He has appeared on The Today Show, CNN, CBS, Fox & Friends, Fox Business and Bloomberg Television, and his work has been featured by The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Entrepreneur. He is also widely recognized for his television work documenting complex repossessions and high-value asset recoveries.
“I’ve spent my career chasing airplanes, yachts and other high-value assets all over the world,” Cage said. “After thousands of recoveries, you learn that getting possession of the asset is only half the battle. Now we can combine IRG’s recovery capabilities with Cloud Yachts’ technology, marketing and sales expertise to create a more complete solution for lenders and attorneys alike.”
Denison brings decades of yacht-industry experience and a network spanning owners, brokers, shipyards, lenders and marine professionals.
“Ken knows how to get the asset back. We know what to do with it once he does,” said Denison. “Our job is to evaluate the asset, determine the best disposition strategy, expose it to the right market and execute the sale. The objective is simple: give lenders and attorneys one coordinated path from recovery through final disposition.”
Cage Sees Potential Increase in Repossessions
“Based on what we’re seeing in the field and hearing from lenders, I believe we could see a meaningful increase in both boat and aircraft repossessions over the next six to twelve months,” Cage said. “The circumstances are different from 2008, but lenders are once again paying close attention to distressed recreational assets.”
Once a distressed yacht or aircraft is recovered, lenders can face another process involving transportation, secure storage, maintenance, documentation, valuation and specialized marketing before the asset can be converted back into cash.
From Recovery to Resale
The service is designed for lender repossessions, attorney- and government-directed vessel arrests and seizures, defaults, bankruptcies, abandoned assets, complicated ownership situations and other distressed yachts and aircraft requiring specialized recovery, management and disposition.
Services may include asset recovery, transportation, storage and management, insurance claims, salvage and subrogation coordination, condition assessment, valuation, documentation, global marketing, brokerage and final disposition.
The collaboration also expands Cloud Yachts beyond the marine market. Cloud Yachts will bring its technology, digital marketing and high-value sales capabilities into aviation, working alongside IRG on the remarketing and disposition of recovered aircraft.
“Make no mistake — we’re still going after airplanes,” Cage said. “IRG will continue providing the same recovery services to aircraft lenders that we always have. Now we can bring Cloud Yachts’ technology, marketing and sales capabilities into that side of the business as well. This gives us an opportunity to build something much bigger across both marine and aviation.”
One asset. One team. One exit strategy.
