About

CoachBright exists to coach disadvantaged young people to become confident, independent and resilient, to lead the lives they want. We partner with state schools to run coaching programmes, by matching disadvantaged recipients with relatable role models, typically undergraduates who are just a few years ahead in their life journey.

Our vision is that every young person’s destination is based on their choices, ambitions and talents, rather than background. We evaluate our impact by using academically validated self-report questionnaires that map onto the three skill outcomes above (confidence, independence, resilience). We have been supported by external evaluator ImpactEd recommending scales for self-efficacy, metacognition, and grit. All impact reports have shown that our coaching approach works to achieve strong social and emotional outcomes for disadvantaged young people.
