About

ConnectAbility is a non-profit organization providing services for children and adults with special needs and their families.
Our goal is to create a fully inclusive community where individuals with disabilities are considered and expected in all aspects of life.
We have monthly Sidekicks respite care events for children and adults with disabilities along with typically developing siblings. Parents and caregivers can enjoy an evening to themselves while we have fun at a themed event. Themes include Talent Show, Pool Party, Birthday Party, Easter Egg Hunt and many others.
We also provide support groups for parents and siblings.
Our newest initiatives are collaborative community based opportunities. The Thousand Words photography project pairs local professional photographers (mentors) with individuals with disabilities (students). The student photographers take pictures which are then for sale in a silent auction and on display at a local art gallery.
The ConnectAbility Community Garden is an effort of groups from all areas of the community. The goal is to learn and grow together.
ALL programs of ConnectAbility are provided at NO COST to families. The programs are supported by grants & private donations. All donations are tax deductible.
