The official central theme of Integrated Transportation Summit 26 in Calgary is "Transportation and Communication: Seamless Integration". The Summit focuses on human ingenuity in overcoming geographic barriers and bringing the North American economy closer together.

Core Themes and Sub-Themes

• Transportation: Explore innovative projects from Community pathways to EVs, trains, airplanes, maritime vessels and cutting-edge aerospace engineering and space travel

• Knowledge at Your Fingertips: Focus on connectivity, spotlighting satellite networking, telecommunications, and AI into sync.

• A Celebration of Ingenuity: Celebrates global problem-solving, technological breakthroughs, and future-forward urban planning.

September 16, 2026 will be the day to share ideas and network with business, education and government leaders

The Summit theme is around "Transportation and Communication" and high-level corporate networking, international trade, cross-border economic cooperation, and the future of global transit.

The Futuristic City Diorama: Why do we settle on “model cities” and fail to achieve incremental improvements annually? Why, in most cities, suboptimal transportation options are available to shuttle passengers and air cargo between airport hubs and downtown centers? Why do Las Vegas, Edmonton, Calgary, Nashville, and McAllen International Airports lack LRT or Regional Rail connectivity to downtown?

Maritime Links: The maritime impacts of bottlenecks to trade is a relevant more than ever. What can be done to de-risk the movement of goods and people? How can the integration of rail and road transportation de-risk marine transportation?
