About

The Constitution was written simply and clearly. This book emphasizes the actual text of it as written,
ignoring the standard manipulation of “original intent” or “interpretation” by the courts. Text is presented
in its original form with a modern explanation of the archaic terminology used – not an explanation of its
“real” meaning or proper interpretation. Readers are reminded to simply read it, accept it as written, and
decide for themselves. The book is organized with the Bill of Rights first, the Constitution under
part 2, and the later Amendments in part 3. The end includes the full text of the Constitution, Bill of
Rights, and Amendments, as well as original gray scale images, and the names of the signers of the
Constitution.
