Cube Works Studio is the result of a collaboration of Graphic Architects and ‘Cubers’ creating a form of art that is retro, yet avant-garde, by re-contextualizing the aesthetic possibilities of the 1980’s toy craze, the Rubik’s Cube.

In the same way that pixels on a computer screen are coloured and organized to form images, Cube Works uses the Cube as a unique, technically complex medium for creating art. Working together, our Cubers and Graphic Architects arrange the cubes to make lifelike pictures out of the coloured blocks. The finished result is
a spectacular conversation piece with replicas of photos jumping from the cube-formed ‘canvas’, complete with subtleties in shading and depth.

One of the most innovative features of our studio is the ability to create distinctive customized works of art for individual patrons or organizations. Interested parties may provide photographs, corporate logos or other media to be recreated, resulting in a truly personalized, one-of-a-kind work of art to be enjoyed and admired for
generations to come.
