Coming in a milk chocolate San Andres wrapper, Pedro Martin Maduro long-fillers hailing from Nicaragua all secured beneath a binder. Boasting a full body, ample notes of caramel, spice, cocoa, and a natural sweetness all enter the fray. This hearty blend will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Wicked Indie and Rogue.

The Pedro Martin Maduro contains a bold Mexican San Andrés Wrapper paired with flavors of sugar, spice, and all things nice. To complete the cigar, a Nicaraguan Maduro binder holds together Grade A Premium Nicaraguan fillers from a few of the most tasteful areas of Nicaragua. A hint of spice and caramel with cocoa makes this cigar a winner in any humidor.

Every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the Spring Training public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies; a stats stringer for MLB.com, PA announcer for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, voice talent and writer, among other things. I also cover the Phoenix cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was previously an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.

The daughter of Pedro Martin says “I am beholden to both Juan Lopez and Kaizad Hansotia for giving me the opportunity to honor my father through the Gurkha brand. I know dad is looking down and proud to see his legacy continue,” said Maria Martín, Official Brand Ambassador to the Pedro Martín line. Last summer, Martín Family of Cigars was acquired by Gurkha Cigar Group shortly before the start of the 2013.
