About

Since 2006, CulturaLink, a woman and minority owned business, has partnered with  health care organization’s to identify challenges, perceptions, barriers, and best practices to improve diversity, inclusion, and delivery of culturally competent patient centered care to  today’s multicultural and multilingual communities and workforce.  Our services are geared to provide significant insights into potential operational strategies and tactics at a system and individual hospital level that are designed to guide an organization in the advancement of its diversity and cultural competence initiative.  We have worked with both large and small health systems, community hospitals, and physician practices.

CulturaLink helps organizations build bridges and close cultural gaps with diverse populations. The company was built on the premise that delivering quality health care to diverse communities is not just about being competent in the practice of medicine; it’s about being proficient in the art of listening and communicating with patients from a variety of backgrounds. The health care industry today is in need of transformation of its systems and processes to improve performance in delivering care to diverse populations.  At CulturaLink, we believe this transformation is possible if all health care stakeholders work together, bringing innovative ideas, sharing responsibilities and fundamentally desiring to improve health care and the quality of life of our communities.

CulturaLink partners with its clients to assist in this transformation by assessing health organizations on their ability to deliver culturally competent patient centered care and service to all patients in their community. In addition to assessing the organization, CulturaLink helps develop staff competencies to serve diverse patients and to implement programs allowing the organization to deliver culturally and linguistically appropriate services in compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements as well as industry diversity standards and practices.

The CulturaLink team is the key in delivery of this solution. CulturaLink team of experts provides professional advice and hands on work to assist and support health care organizations during all stages of this ongoing process, from identifying the current situation, to guiding the development and implementation of a cultural competence strategy. CulturaLink’s team includes a diverse group of experts with significant experience in communication, language, cultural issues, human resources, diversity, business, marketing, and training.
