About

Dynamic Innovations Squad is the single-shingle (one man) operation of Tom "Bald Dog" Varjan, Organisational Provocateor.

Since 1998, using battle tested strategies and principles of the military, bearing monikers like “The Ultimate Professional Service Firm” and “The World’s Finest Business School”, coupled with his eclectic background – slaughterman, embalmer, gravedigger, hearse driver, coffin maker, bouncer, personal trainer, university lecturer, soldier, crematorium attendant, engineer, farmer, punk rock singer and hell knows what else - Tom uses his extensive repertoire of peculiarly titbits to help consulting firms that feel the market has turned them into lukewarm commodities and fungible vendors over the years.

Consulting firms seek out Tom’s help in order to be able to sell their expertise to top-drawer clients at premium fees, and build commando style, low headcount, high impact consulting teams that create lasting success for their clients, memorable careers for their associates and fat bottom lines for their firms.

So, with Tom’s help, support and guidance, they revamp their firms, and build “commando calibre” consulting teams of skilled, disciplined, accountable and committed professionals who respond to leadership and teamwork, are focused on creating excellent client experiences, demonstrate the character of the warrior, demonstrate the core values of their firms, and get paid premium fees for all this.

Working with Tom, his clients seek their unique answers to the ultimate consulting question...

“How can we offer more value to our clients, charging higher fees for it and do it all using as little time and effort as possible, while getting more learning and enjoyment out of the process?"

Tom has earned his B.Eng. degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering at the University of Greenwich, London, UK.

He also studied English and adult education at Cambridge University (UK), and leadership and business development at the London Business School (UK). He is in his final lap to earn his Certified Management Consultant designation.

Tom's spare time is dedicated to skydiving, hiking in the local mountains, attending both classical- and rock concerts and studying military strategy, especially commando warfare, and its application to consulting practice development.
