Detroit WIndsor International Film Festival is a celebration of independent film. Originated in 2008 the festival is held on Wayne State's University's Campus in June of each year. 4 days of film, fun and festivities... We have hosted such films as Bilal's Stand, Ocean of Pearls, Tracy, and many more independent gems. The festival includes a Techfair presenting classes, exhibitions and panels about new techniques and technologies in the community as well as a 48 hour film challenge that involves creating a film from script to final product in 48 hours ... see dwiff.org for more information
