About

Diaz Marine, also known as MJM Florida, represents MJM Yachts throughout the state of Florida, Caribbean, Central and South America.  They will depart from Biscayne Bay Yacht Club in Miami on May 22nd to navigate the Atlantic Ocean and finish their voyage in Bimini Bay, Bahamas.  They will be proving the seaworthiness, fuel efficiency and speed of these elegant, yet powerful motor yachts.
MJM Yachts Founder & CEO and boater of more than 70 years, Bob Johnstone commented, “Cruising is about shared adventure… But, the right boat can make a big difference”.  MJM Yachts have been rated by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) to surpass small craft structural requirements for design category A “Ocean”, making them suitable for seas of up of to 7 meters (23 feet) and winds of Beaufort Force 9 (41-47 knots).
Boatest.com highlighted that, “Top speed for the MJM 36z is 39.2 mph (63.1 kph), burning 24 gallons per hour (gph) or 90.84 liters per hour (lph),” and “Best cruise [speed] is 24 mph (38 kph) and the boat gets 2.4 miles per gallon (mpg) or 1.02 kilometers per hour (kph), giving the boat a cruising range of 431 miles (693.63 kilometers).
MJM Yachts are built without compromise and are the only boats in their class specifically designed to maximize fuel efficiency, with leading-edge, high-tech epoxy wet pre-preg Kevlar/E-glass/Corocell composite laminate, vacuum-bagged and oven-post-cured.  They are built in America by Boston BoatWorks and are lighter, stronger and longer lasting than conventional fiberglass boats.  MJM Yachts include: 29z, 36z, 40z and 50z.  For more information, please visit Diaz-Marine.com
