Disability Belongs® believes that true equity for people with disabilities begins with changing perceptions, building leadership, and transforming systems. We envision a society in which every disabled person belongs. Belonging means people are valued and celebrated for who they are.
Our work bridges advocacy, leadership development, training, and partnership to dismantle barriers and advance inclusion in policy, education, employment, and media. By centering lived experience and elevating disabled voices, we drive lasting change that benefits individuals, families, and communities.
We are a leading disability advocacy organization dedicated to advancing disability inclusion, accessibility, and leadership across all sectors. Our impact is driven by a commitment to disability rights, systemic change, and championing disabled voices in every aspect of society. Our work falls under three pillars: Advocacy, Leadership Development, and Partnerships.
Advocacy: Our work focuses on integrating disability into policy conversations, ensuring that disability is recognized as an essential part of the population in all legislation. We also strive for authentic cultural change by increasing disability representation in media, leadership, and decision-making roles, and by normalizing disability as a part of human diversity.
Leadership Development: Through our programs, we empower people with disabilities and allies to recognize and challenge ableism and cultivate disability inclusion and accessibility champions in the workforce.
Partnerships: Our partnerships span corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors, providing disability inclusion training and accessibility consulting that delivers measurable results.
