DJ OnTheCLOCK (born Derrick Harris, 1984) is a turntable master mixer and promotion director from Los Angeles, California.
He is best known for his ability to rock live concerts and events on two turntables. OnTheCLOCK, who has opened for artists such as Biz Markie, Goapele, Snoop Dogg, Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest, E-40, Twista, Dr. Hollywood &YG. His world class style and demanding voice has toured many cities and hundreds of venues. OnTheCLOCK emerged into the entertainment industry as a member of Magic Broadcasting's 93.5 FM KDAY "Hit Squad" DJ's. The new KDAY is the rebirth of the original Hip- Hop/R&B/ and Dance station of the early 1970's and 1980's, KDAY AM 1580. KDAY became the first station in the world to go 24 hour Hip-Hop format.
In 2007, he took the radio industry by storm as one of the top live DJ's and host for the streets of Los Angeles and all of Southern California. In 2009, DJ OnTheCLOCK joined the Original Programming Department for BET Networks in Century City, California under the guidance of Warren Hutcherson (Executive Producer of the Bernie Mac Show & co-writer for SNL, EveryBody Hates Chris, Lving Single, Moesha).
In 2010, DJ OnTheCLOCK began weekly residency as the primary hip-hop DJ and event promoter for the top celebrity owned Conga Room inside LA LIVE, the home of NBA Champion Los Lakers. Currently, DJ OnTheCLOCK can be seen in the mix at weekly venues including Kress, House of Blues, The Highlands, Conga Room, The Key Club, LA Live, & The Cabana Club, He continues to pump out massive fraternity and college parties through out California.
In 2011, DJ OnTheCLOCK is scheduled to go on tour with award winning Hip-Hop/ R&B/Pop singer-songwriter Missy Elliot. OnTheCLOCK is also official Dj of Music Connections Top 100 Unsigned Artist "Toni Monroe".
