Decades of piecemeal legislation have not brought women equal justice under the law. Only the Equal Rights Amendment can do that.    Good News!  Illinois, ratified the Equal Rights Amendment!   Now what, you ask?  

If you are in Illinois, first urge our Illinois congressional delegation members to sign on to legislation that will remove the deadline on equality.  Meanwhile, the Illinois Attorney General continues to fight in court to ensure the Equal Rights Amendment is affirmed.  Thank you Kwame Raoul!
