EVADA Aircraft SA is Pleased to Introduce its Prospective Light Sport Aircraft, the EVADA A4
Sousse, Tunisia, June 24, 2016 – EVADA Aircraft SA ispleased to introduceits prospective Light Sport Aircraft, the EVADA A4.
Since February 2016, Evada Aircraft SA, a Tunisian company that is devoted to the manufacture and marketing of light aircraft, and in partnership with the National aircraft manufacturer AVIONAV, has started the prototyping of a 4 seats amphibious aircraft, EVADA A4, a high wing made of carbon fiber. The aircraft is intended to be commercialized, in the first place, in the American and Canadian markets.
The prototyping phase which is at 50% of completion (June 2016) will be finalized by the end of 2016, the prototype will be sent to the United States to perform a series of ground and flight tests in order to get its US certification.
Two models will be presented for marketing, by early 2017, the EVADA A2 powered by a 130 hp Rotax 915 engine, the latest of the Canadian engine manufacturer Bombardier, and EVADA A4 equipped with a 6-cylinder Lycoming O-540 engine delivering 250 hp. Both models will be equipped with a full avionics with 3 screens of 10 inches, autopilot, GPS, stall warning and a full parachute for the entire plane. Retractable gears fitted as standard equipment will allow the aircraft to land on water, on any hard runway, retractable skis will be offered as an option to enable future EVADA pilot to land on the snow.
With a range of 2,000 km, a cruising speed of 240 Km / h and a cabin of an unequalled level of comfort, the aircraft will be very competitive with regards to its competitors.
Adding to these benefits a very competitive price, the EVADA Aircraft Company, plans to reach a target of 100 orders within the first year of commercialization.
