Mr. King is a retired police officer with 29 years experience of criminal experience.  Within those 29 years he has worked as a Police Dispatcher, Police Detention Officer, Patrol Officer, Narcotics Officer, Investigator, Investigator Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant, and International Police Officer with the United Nations.

Mr. King started his law enforcement career in 1984 as a detention officer.  He rose through the ranks earning respect and admiration throughout the years.  He was promoted to the rank of Detective in 1992. He was known as the Senior Detective; responsible for training and mentoring new and experience Detectives.

Mr. King was the Myrtle Beach Police Officer of the Year in 1997, and was also the Horry County Crime Stoppers Officer of the Year in 1998.  Mr. King was a Police Advisor/Mentor for the United Nations in Kosovo for two and a half years, and a Police Advisor/Mentor for the United Nations in Haiti for one year.

In 1998 Mr. King was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.  In this role, he continued to supervise both the Investigative and Crime Scene Divisions.  Known for his professionalism and dedication, Mr. King is committed to providing service that's filled with both excellence and integrity.
