About

FLEXI Careers India, a social enterprise from AVTAR Career Creators founded by Ms. Saundarya Rajesh in 2000, focusing on Gender Diversity and Creating Sustainable Careers for women.

FLEXI's goal is to achieve the right balance of gender ratio in organisations who vouch (or support) for it. Our core area of work is to establish a diverse workforce to our clients. The women workforce participation rate in India is at 28% which is substantially lower than other Asian countries like Singapore, China and Hong Kong. In many core industries in India, this rate is as low as 8 to 10%. There is an urgent need of more women in the workplace and a women friendly work environment to achieve the gender balance in most of the organizations. The whole idea or focus is on equality, meaning, women need to be looked upon as valued economic drivers too along with men.

Our career portal for women, AVTAR I-WIN (Interim Women manager's Interface Network) attracts lot of women professionals who desire to work on part-time, flexi-time and full-time working. We also design innovative and ground breaking training programs and workshops for retaining and growing women leaders within the organisation. Our training programs are very engaging and tailor made to suit today's corporate needs. FLEXICURITY, a proprietary product from FLEXI assists organizations to extend flexi-working to their employees and attract new talent pool.

Our vision is to provide sustainable career to woman professionals and one of our mission is to enable second career opportunities to about 1.5 million women professionals in India who are looking for such opportunities. It is a known fact that ladies returning after a hiatus, come back with an unbelievable energy for a winning position, but they still need. Segue Sessions, India’s first large format skill building and networking program provides opportunities for women to learn from experts and senior women leaders. These training programs are also a platform for them to interact with their peers and many working women professionals who hold high positions in corporates.
