About

The Feline Conservation Foundation (FCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the welfare, conservation, and responsible management of wild felines worldwide. Founded in 1956 as the Long Island Ocelot Club, the FCF has evolved into a leading resource for zoological professionals, educators, conservationists, and responsible exotic feline keepers. Through science-based husbandry training, advocacy, professional networking, and support of global in-situ conservation projects, the FCF works to ensure a sustainable future for wild cats both in human care and in their natural habitats. With a membership spanning zoological facilities, private professionals, researchers, and students, the FCF remains committed to education, collaboration, and elevating standards of care across the feline conservation community.
