Final Expense Florida is my personal insurance practice dedicated to helping Florida families prepare for the “fourth quarter of life” with clarity, compassion, and precision. As an independent Florida insurance and annuity agent, I work for you, not for any single insurance company. My role is to help you design coverage that gives your family the cash they need, when they need it most, so your loved ones are not left scrambling to pay for funerals, medical bills, or final debts at the worst possible time.

I work with multiple highly rated life insurance and annuity carriers and compare their products side by side. That includes final expense policies designed to cover funeral and burial costs, traditional term life insurance to protect your family during your working years, permanent life insurance for long term needs, and annuities that can help provide income you cannot outlive. My job is to explain the tradeoffs in plain English, show you real numbers, and recommend options that are suitable for your situation and budget as a Florida resident.

You will never pay me a separate “advisor” fee. I am paid by the insurance companies if and when you decide to place coverage, and I am not under any obligation to one company. Because I am independent, I can tell you when a product is not in your best interest just as clearly as when I believe it is.

In addition to my insurance work, I am also a non attorney Member of the Florida Association of Legal Document Preparers (FALDP). In that separate capacity, I can provide Florida Supreme Court approved legal form typing services for Florida residents who choose to handle some of their own planning documents, such as last wills, powers of attorney, and advance medical directives. My role in that context is strictly clerical. I prepare documents using Florida Supreme Court approved forms and type exactly what you direct, so that your paperwork is completed neatly, accurately, and in a format that Florida courts will recognize, while you remain in control of your own legal decisions.

I am a detail person by background and training, and I take compliance and documentation as seriously as I take compassion and customer service. You can expect written summaries, clear explanations of guarantees and non guaranteed elements, and straightforward answers to hard questions about price, coverage limitations, and how claims work in the real world.

All insurance and annuity recommendations and applications are offered and written in the name of David Happe, Florida License #W954746.

Insurance and annuity services are available only to individuals who are residents of the State of Florida at the time of application.

I am licensed for insurance and annuities. I am not an attorney, CPA, or investment advisor. Nothing in this description or in any conversation with me should be interpreted as legal, tax, or investment advice. I am a non attorney Member of the Florida Association of Legal Document Preparers (FALDP). Legal document preparation services are a separate, non attorney service that involves the use of Florida Supreme Court approved forms and typing information that you provide. I do not select forms for you, interpret the law, or give legal opinions. If you need legal advice, you must consult a licensed Florida attorney.

For annuity recommendations I am required to follow Florida and NAIC “best interest” rules, which means I must have a reasonable basis to believe the recommendation is in your best interest based on the information you provide. This is a product specific standard and is not an ongoing fiduciary relationship.

Insurance and annuity guarantees are subject to the financial strength and claims paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Product availability, features, and underwriting are controlled by the carriers and may change at any time.
