About

Fix West Texas is a community-driven nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of pets and their owners across Midland and the broader West Texas region. Founded with a mission to end pet homelessness and promote responsible pet ownership, we provide essential services that strengthen the bond between people and animals.

Through our affordable spay/neuter programs, adoption initiatives, vaccination clinics, and pet food assistance, Fix West Texas works tirelessly to reduce shelter overcrowding and ensure every animal has a chance at a healthy, loving home.

Our latest project, the “Pets in Need” Campaign, aims to raise $5,000 in recurring donations to help homeless and at-risk pets find safety and support. Funds raised will provide medical care, nutritious food, and rehoming assistance for local shelter animals, while also helping struggling pet owners keep their beloved companions at home.

With the help of passionate volunteers, fosters, and donors, Fix West Texas continues to make a measurable difference in the lives of hundreds of pets each year. Our work is guided by compassion, community collaboration, and transparency ensuring every donation directly supports animal welfare in our region.

Our Core Programs:
• Spay/Neuter and Vaccination Clinics
• Pet Adoption and Foster Services
• Food and Vet Care Assistance for Struggling Owners
• Education and Community Outreach

Our Vision:
A West Texas where every pet is safe, loved, and cared for and no family has to give up a pet due to financial hardship.

Fix West Texas is proud to serve as a trusted partner to the City of Midland and local shelters, transforming compassion into action one paw at a time.
