Formed Plastics is an ISO-certified full service plastics molder and fabricator, specializing in Rotational Molding, Vacuum Forming & Light Globes.

While Formed Plastics is a large company, with state of the art equipment, we are also family owned and maintain a traditional sense of pride in our work. Founded in 1946 as Thomas J. Long, Inc., the firm was renamed Formed Plastics, Inc. in 1975.

Being a family business Formed Plastics has a devoted and experienced staff. Our customer service department is friendly and knowledgeable, employing ERP Software that allows them to track orders at all times. Our engineers are veterans of the plastics industry, willing to apply their many years of knowledge and insight to each project. We are especially proud of our staff of skilled manufacturing personnel and their experienced supervisors.

Located on Long Island, New York, Formed Plastics’ 85,000 square foot facility is centrally located along the Eastern corridor. The plant is equipped with top of the line manufacturing equipment, including state of the art 3 axis and 5 axis CNC machines.
