About

Founded in 1992, the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra enriches the lives of Houston area residents with live symphonic music presented at the Stafford Centre and other Fort Bend County venues. The full-size orchestra consists of approximately 60 talented and dedicated volunteer musicians who audition to secure their place.

FBSO has distinguished itself through its focus on presenting affordable, fun concerts that include quality pops and classical music. FBSO also fosters local musicians through sponsorship of an annual Young Artist Concert competition and opportunities to perform with the Orchestra.

In addition to its regular concert season, which is available at www.fbso.org, FBSO presents a free concert to the community each year in Sugar Land Town Square. FBSO also can be heard performing live with legendary recording artists at the Stafford Centre like B.J. Thomas, Christopher Cross, Kansas and Ray Price
