About

Arden Moore is founder of Four Legged Life, an online pet community designed to help people "laugh, love and learn" about cats and dogs. Moore travels all over North America to help millions better understand and bring out the healthy best in dogs and cats. She happily wears many "collars" in the pet world: an animal behavior consultant, best-selling author, editor, in-demand speaker, media consultant, editor, certified instructor in pet first aid and CPR with Pet Tech, and host of the “Oh Behave!” show on PetLifeRadio.com – the world’s No. 1 pet podcast network.  Her guests have included Betty White, Victoria Stillwell, Dr. Marty Becker, and many top celebrities and pet experts.

Known as "America's Pet Edu-Tainer," Moore has been featured on CNN-Headline News, NBC's The Today Show, AP World Television, Fox News, Martha Stewart Living Radio plus hundreds of television and radio shows. She serves as the behavior consultant for Pet Airways, editor of Catnip, editor-at-large of Fido Friendly. She has authored 20 books on dogs and cats and completed two successful national book tours.

A native of Crown Point, Indiana, and now a resident of California, Moore shares her home with her “furry fab four,” consisting of second-chance rescued dogs, Chipper and Cleo, and cats, Zeki and Murphy. All four have appeared with her national TV shows and pet presentations. Chipper and Cleo enjoy tandem canine surfing while Zeki, a former abused cat, thrives as a feline ambassador. Murphy enjoys staying home.

In 2011, Moore unleashed National Dog Party Day with the first event scheduled for  June 24 in San Diego and New York City. She teamed up with Pet Sitters International, sponsors of the annual Take Your Dog to Work Day. Their shared goal: "work like a dog by day and party like a pup at night" with proceeds of this annual event benefiting  designated non-profit pet groups.
