Gene Pease is a recognized transformation specialist and leader of People Analytics and HR Technology. He was the Founder and CEO of Vestrics (formerly Capital Analytics). Vestrics was one of the first human capital predictive analytics SaaS platforms, that was acquired by Ultimate Software in May 2016 to be the core of Ultimate’s HR Analytics offering. He has written three books on human capital analytics and won multiple industry awards for his pioneering work. He has more than 25 years’ experience as a CEO and Board member in small to mid-cap companies. Gene has an MBA with honors from the University of Southern California, and a BA in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.

During his 11-year tenure as CEO of Vestrics, Gene steered the company into winning several awards like the Brandon Hall Gold Recipient in HR Predictive Analytics Technology (2015), the Bersin and Associates Learning Leader winner (2012) and the Gartner Human Capital Management “On the Rise Vendor”(2011). The proprietary SaaS-based predictive analytics platform that linked human capital investments to business results was adopted by Fortune 100 organizations like Chevron, Verizon, Xerox, and Caterpillar, among others. Vestrics was acquired by Ultimate Software in mid-2016.
