Good Tidings was founded in 1983, and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in Pennsylvania in 1986.
It exists to give spiritual support and counseling to women who have been or are currently involved in relationships with Roman Catholic priests, and to those priests themselves. It also assists women who have the children of priests.
Professional personal counseling, spiritual direction and peer support are offered in English, Spanish, and French, in person or by phone. This is a ministry which spans the United States and Canada, as well as other countries.
This ministry has been featured on many of the national television talk shows, as well as local networks around the United States, Canada, Ireland and Australia.
