Established in 2006, the Human Capital Research Collaborative (HCRC) is an interdisciplinary center at the University of Minnesota to improve public policies and programs for young people through multidisciplinary research from birth to early adulthood. In support of this mission, In affiliation with the Institute of Child Development at the University, HCRC conducts research on the determinants of child and adult well-being; investigates the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of social and education programs; synthesizes, integrates, and disseminates knowledge on socially significant topics; and designs and implements intervention strategies to promote educational success, health, and psychological well-being.
